It can make a connection between a Network interface, or NETWORK port, and a media segment, or to directly connect stations and Hubports together. Generally there are two types of fiber optic patch cords: single mode fiber optic patch cords and multimode fiber optic patch cords. here the word mode means the transmitting mode of the fiber optic light in the fiber optic cable core. Usually single mode fiber optic patch cord are with 9/125 fiber glass and with yellow jacket color, multi mode fiber optic patch cord are with 50/125 or 62.5/125 fiber glass and with orange color. Distinguish by external shape, there have simplex, duplex, multi, ribbon fan out and bundle fiber optic cable assemblies. Typical fiber optic patch cord cable diameter can be 0.9mm, 2mm,or 3mm. PLC Splitter

Planar lightwave circuit splitter (PLC Splitter) is a type of optical power management device that is fabricated using silica optical waveguide technology. It features small size, high reliability, wide operating wavelength range and good channel-to-channel uniformity, and is widely used in PON(EPON/GPON) networks to realize optical signal power splitting. Optical PLC Splitter is one of the key components in FTTH, it’s typical parameter include input and output part cable length, connector type, light splitting ratio and package style. Just like fiber optic patch cable, PLC splitters are usually with 0.9mm, 2mm or 3mm cables. 0.9mm outer diameter cable is mostly used in blockless/steel tube package fiber optic PLC splitters, while 2mm and 3mm cables are mostly used in box type package fiber splitters. Usually, PLC splitter is use G657A1 fiber, typical connectors installed on the fiber optic splitters are SC/UPC, SC/APC, LC/UPC, LC/APC or FC/PC type. FBT Coupler

Nexivox Fused fiber optic coupler (FBT Coupler) is designed for power splitting and tapping telecommunication equipment, CATV networks, and test equipment. This kind of small components are available individually or integrated into modules for fiber protection switching, MUX/DMUX, optical channel monitoring, and add/drop multiplexing applications. CWDM Mux/Demux

Coarse wavelength division multiplexing (CWDM) is a method of combining multiple signals on laser beams at various wavelengths for transmission along fiber optic cables, such that the number of channels is fewer than in dense wavelength division multiplexing (DWDM) but more than in standard wavelength division multiplexing (WDM). CWDM systems have channels at wavelengths spaced 20 nanometers (nm) apart. This allows the use of low-cost, uncooled lasers for CWDM. In a typical CWDM system, laser emissions occur on eight channels at eight defined wavelengths: 1610 nm, 1590 nm, 1570 nm, 1550 nm, 1530 nm, 1510 nm, 1490 nm, and 1470 nm. But up to 18 different channels are allowed, with wavelengths ranging down to 1270 nm. Nexivox’s Coarse wavelength division multiplexer (CWDM Mux/Demux) utilizes thin film coating technology and proprietary design of non-flux metal bonding micro optics packaging. It provides low insertion loss, high channel isolation, wide pass band, low temperature sensitivity and epoxy free optical path. We offers a full range of CWDM Mux/Demux devices to suit all kinds applications and network solutions. Some most common ones are: Gigabit & 10G Ethernet, SDH/SONET, ATM, ESCON, Fibre Channel, FTTx and CATV. Our CWDM Mux Demux products provide up to 16-channel or even 18-channel Multiplexing on a single fiber. Due the the low insertion loss is needed in WDM networks, we can also add “Skip Component” in a CWDM Mux/Demux module to reduce the IL as an option. Adaptor & Attenuator

Fiber optic adapter is also called fiber optic coupler. It is used to provide a cable to cable fiber connection. People sometimes also name them to be mating sleeves and hybrid adaptors. Fiber Joint Closure

Fiber Optic Splice Closure is a device used to offer spaces to fuse optical fiber as well as to provide protections to the fused fiber joint point and the fiber optic cables. It protects fiber optic splice while providing fast and easy no cost reentry. Inside the closure there are fiber splice trays. Optical fibers are fused and put inside the fiber splice tray for protection. Then the closure itself provides further protection. The fiber optic splice closure is installed on wires, in manholes, in ducts, and mounted on poles. It provides reliable sealing performance and fiber splices are enclosed in a ribbed polypropylene body that has high mechanical and environmental specifications. There are various kinds of fiber splice closures suit for different applications. They are used with aerial fiber optic cables, duct fiber optic cables and direct buried fiber optic cables.
